Damaris Rivera announced the opening of her pet boutique "Pinky's Pet Connection" on the weekend of December 9. The new store, located at the newly renovated 55 Station building, near the Public Market, specializes in pet clothes, pet accessories and baked goods for dogs, and offers as well a pet sitting service.

LaBella Associates (Sergio Esteban, RHBA Past President), helps city turn Brownfield into LEED Gold: The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) has recently notified the City of Rochester that the City's New Water Operations Center located at 10 Felix Street has been awarded a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) GOLD rating. This new building is the first GOLD rated building in the City of Rochester and the first GOLD rated municipal building in New York State. LaBella Associates served as project architect, engineer and environmental consultant for this project.
